User Groups and Permissions

In Solteq Commerce Cloud, users need permissions in order to perform various actions in the POS and Back Office. These permissions are managed with the help of user groups: The membership of the user group determines the permissions of the user. A user can only belong in one group at a time.

Solteq Commerce Cloud has the following default user groups.

  • Admin

  • Salesperson

  • Store Manager

  • Main POS

  • Management

  • Other

If a group has POS action switch in OFF position, users belonging to the group can only use POS for logging hours.

Permissions for POS Actions

The following POS actions can be allowed/not allowed for a user group:

  • Manual discounts

  • Money In

  • Money Out

  • X Report

  • Z Report

  • End of Day report

  • Find Customer

  • Refund

  • POS Journal report

  • Open cash drawer

  • Void receipt

  • Negative row

  • End of day on another POS

  • Product creation on POS

  • Cash report preview

Permissions for Back Office Functions

User groups can be given Read and/or Modify permissions for the following Back Office Functions:

  • Products/Ingredients

  • Stock

  • Stock Tool

  • Accounting

  • Gift Cards

  • Orders

  • Customers

  • Configuration

  • Pricing

  • Statistics

  • Statistics export

  • Cash Report

  • POS layout

  • POS Installer

  • Users

  • Personnel Ledger

  • Media

  • Webshop

  • Contract Catering

  • Messages

  • Custom Reports
