Stock Insight

In the Stock Insight view you can view the current stock balances of products, as well as update the inprices of stock items. You can also export and import stock item information in Excel form, enabling mass editing of stock items, for instance.

Inprice in Stock Insight as a default is the average of the values entered in purchase orders to the Stock.

For example:

• 10 pcs of product with inprice of 5€ is added to the Stock, after which

• 10 pcs of the same product with inprice of 10€ is added to the Stock

• Inprice will be 7,5 € for the same product

To access the Stock Insight view:

1. Click Stock Handling in the Back Office menu.

2. Select a Stock from the list. Stock details are displayed.

3. Click View more in the Stock Insight section.

If the Stock you selected has not been not allocated to any Store (that is, it functions as a central Stock), you can switch between Stock Insight views: select another Stock or view all stock information by selecting a tab.

The Stock Insight view contains the following information about the items on stock:

• Name

• Category

• Inprice

  • Average inprice of the stock item.

• Last order for the item (date and time)

• Last sale of the item (date and time)

• Current quantity of the item in stock

• Expected quantity of the item in stock

  • The amount in transaction orders with Pending status.

You can use the criteria above for sorting the information in the Stock Insight view:

• The arrow icon next to the column header (A.) indicates that the column is used as the sorting criteria. Click on the arrow icon to sort the information in either ascending or descending order.

• To select another column header to be used as the sorting criteria, click on the column (B.).

  

The following filters can be used to filter the information in the view:

• Categories: Select stock item category types and categories to display.

• In stock: Enter minimum/maximum stock balances for products.

• Below min: Lists stock items whose quantity level is below minimum (if PAR levels have been defined for the stock item).

• Below preorder: Lists stock items whose quantity level is below the preorder limit (if PAR levels have been defined for the stock item).

When you have selected the filters you want to use, click Apply filters to filter the information.
